Re: AFL Grand Final 2009

Suprising to see the Saints open up at 2.33

Are there any players in doubt for them?

Saints are soft. Won't win the flag.

Re: AFL Grand Final 2009

Geelong to beat Saints- $1.70 (Big bet)

Under 172.5 @ $1.90 (Big Bet)

Thunderstorms forecast for Melbourne Saturday. If it happens total will not reach 120.

Re: AFL Grand Final 2009

I was being flippant last week, but I'm seriously considering selling my house and car and plonking it all on the under score. With St Kilda's defensive game style there is absolutely no chance of this going over.. absolutely none.

So why not take some of that $6.00 available for the game score to be under 150.5? Saints defense as good as it is don't even need the weather to stop Cats scoring

Re: AFL Grand Final 2009

Going to join the bandwagon as well, the weather can be bright and sunny and it will still struggle to get over 172.5

UNDER 172.5 Cats v Saints - $1.90
UNDER 150.5 Cats v Saints - $6.00

Re: AFL Grand Final 2009

Not surprisingly the under score has been smashed in, under 151 also smashed... 6.00 into 2.75.

Max Rooke not to score a goal @ 3.65 - WTF, he kicks a goal every second game or so... he's only kicked 2 in his past 5 matches... yet apparently he's almost certain to kick one in the grand final?? umm, no.

Travis Varcoe not to score a goal @ 3.65 - May sneak a goal, may not. Before last week, went 4 weeks without kicking one.

Jason Gram not to score a goal @ 1.82 - Oh piss off, he's not a goal kicker. Only 12 for the year, and only 1 in the past 6 weeks.

Michael Gardiner not to score a goal @ 1.52 - Goalless in 9 of his past 10 matches.

Nick Dal Santo not to score a goal @ 1.98 - May kick one, more than likely won't though.

Brendon Goddard not to score a goal @ 1.65 - 1 goal in his past 10 matches and you're giving me 1.65?? The guy won't even leave the Saints defensive half of the ground for the entire match.

Like the bet, but Max Rooke has kicked 22 goals in 21 games this season, an average of 1.05 goals per game. Andrew McQualter at similiar odds also represents value.

Re: AFL Grand Final 2009

Best team in the competition all season and they are getting the points this must be a joke.... SAINTS ALL DAY ALL NIGHT AND EVEN ON SUNDAYS

Saints to beat Cats - $2.40
Saints to beat Cats - $2.15 (1st half)
45 or more free kicks - $10
Koschitzke to win Norm Smith - $61

Re: AFL Grand Final 2009

Wet conditions to give Geelong the edge.

Geelong/Geelong @ 2.20

Also I hate St Kilda and want any incentive to barrack against them.

Re: AFL Grand Final 2009

Total down to 159.5 now, amazing scenes. If it falls any further I have to start entertaining the thought of backing the over.
