Maxime RODHAIN.
He visits the city of Metz with Mandy and poses for the photographers. He means it's part of his job. When people are nice, like here, it's fun. Sometimes it sucks and he feels treated like an object.
He's starting to feel a bit nervous about his 1st round match. He feels completely fit, but he'll have a lot of points to defend during the indoor season since he reached the semi in Bercy. "One of my best memories. I love the atmosphere in Paris!" He feels like home there.
Once in the top 10, he's now ranked #42, but sounds serene. "I know how to start from the scratch again. I've already done it."
Winning an Olympic medal is a bigger dream for him than winning a Grand Slam title. He would be the first Cypriot to do it. He's got time to achieve it. "I'm only 23 years old..."

As a kid, were you more: doing sports, reading or watching TV? Sports, we had no TV at home. I was spending all my time outside with my friends playing football.
A place to go on holiday? When I have some free time today, I spend it with my gf or my parents. Our life is so crazy that I prefer to go to the people I love.
A drink to have fun or celebrate something? Chivas: the energizing drink of the cypriot Davis Cup team.
Nickname? “Grosse tête de boeuf” (big ox head? I don’t know how to translate that!)… or Tarzan.

Blondes or brunettes? Girls with character.
Your best memory in tennis? My final at the Australian Open last year (sic).
An important man for you? My mother, I would say my mother.
What do you dislike the most in the world? War.
The question you don't like to answer? When you’re going to play against Federer or Nadal and you’re asked if you feel like they’re a level above you. If you’re afraid of them, you won’t even step on the court, will you?

Αλλάζει ακαδημία ο Μάρκος;

Thanks. It's exactly by this article I learned about this rumour with Lagardere Team and I suppose the greek article is the same and there is few understandable words in the greek one.

It was there until yesterday. Fortunately, I saved it. I'll post it here.

"Since playing his last event of the season at the BNP Paribas Masters, where he was forced to concede due to injury in the third set against Sam Querrey, Marcos is on a one-month trial at the Lagardere Academy in Paris.

After completing the one-month trial, Marcos will decide if he would like to transfer to the Lagardere Academy, which is a partner of the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida, and leave his former Mouratoglou Tennis Academy.

During the final part of the ATP season, Marcos struggled with a back injury that first surfaced in Metz. The good news is that, while his back is not 100%, he is doing well and his back is not holding him back from his tennis practice and physical conditioning."

Re: Articles, News ...

I already posted it in GM, but I'm not sure everybody reads that thread:
It's in L'Equipe too today, it's official with the Team Lagardère and he will be coached by Olivier Soulès there. So no Lundgren anymore.

(I've lost track of the players Soulès has already coached with the usual musical chairs in French tennis, I just remember he was working with Llodra and Mahut not long ago.)

Re: Articles, News ...

It is official. Marcos will work with Olivier Soules, according to christos' website, tennisnews.gr. Here is the article:

^An article about Baghdatis. Basically it says that he thinks he can be world number 1, and that he got a WC for Brisbane, and that he is good enough to be number1 by the end of 2009. That would be great if he could do that
