Re: Marcoseille Dubaghdatis

Marcos is the outsider in this match. In their 3 encounters Nole has been the winner but Marcos got too close. He can beat him if he takes his chances and convert the break points.

Looks like there's quite a few people on this board who support Marcos and Nole.

Re: Marcoseille Dubaghdatis

He converted 3 out of 16 break point chances and 1 of them was double fault. He is having serious mental issues he needs to sort out if he is ever gonna get where his talent deserves to be.

Re: Marcoseille Dubaghdatis

Marcos He just got tired at the end and ran out of steam. But a semi in an ATP 500 event is no disgrace, and losing in a final set to the World Number 2 is no disgrace either I'm pleased for Nole but can't really celebrate right now - that was a hellish match-up for me - didn't really enjoy it at all

Yeah, he would've won the match if he learned how to convert on BP's!

Re: Marcoseille Dubaghdatis

To be honest this is uncacceptable by any means. It's the 16th match he loses against Nole, Nadal or Federer and he had 16 break points from which he took only 3 and 1 was a double fault from Nole. He will never go far with a record like this. It's a clear sign of mental weakness and unless he gets therapy from a professional psychologist he will repeat the same chokes forever. The same pattern repeats again and again. He gets loads of break points, misses most of them, breaks after 6-7 chances and gets broken immediately after. To be honest it's frustrating and pathetic.
After carefully examining his break chances it is evident that he loses them because he loses his concentration and the anxiety takes over which leads to a passive gameplay which is not enough to win the point against the top players.
