Marcos will join the quality line-up at the AEGON Championships at Queen’s Club next week, after being awarded a wild card due to the withdrawal of Kei Nishikori with an elbow injury.

Go, Marcos!

Yes!!! So looking forward to supporting him at Queens.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

Wasn't going to bother with Queens this year as Novak isn't playing - but with Marcos AND Janko - I may well be tempted to go once after work

Hi Andrew, - you're the only person I know here I think I live quite near Queens and have tickets for Centre Court for tomorrow. I will do my best to cheer your man on, and try and write a report of the match here as soon as I can.

Re: Grass Season - Road to Wimbledon

I was quite impressed with Marcos today - and Youzhny is not in his best form at the moment, so - you never know

I think James Ward was a good opening opponent for Marcos - don't wish to be cruel, but James is not a star, top player, so playing him allowed Marcos to get used to the grass and the Centre Court without any pressure.

Marcos started rather nervously - he served a double fault in the first game of the match, and seemed to be having problems moving on the grass. However, as James made so many unforced errors, it gave Marcos the confidence to experiment more and try more variety in his game, and he came out an easy winner

Re: Grass Season - Road to Wimbledon

Thanks for the report
I feel terrible for not really being active in the Serbian forum anymore
I just haven't the time
But I'll go in there as much as possible
