Marcos' first tourney of 2009 will be the Brisbane Invitational, in the first week of his 'comeback' season.

Andreas, it would be way better if you wrote Marcos' schedule in black letters.

http://www.baghdatis.com/articlecate...iew/calendar-1

Marcos will participate in the following tournaments:

1. San Jose (February 9-15)
2. Memphis (February 16-22)
3. Delray Beach (February 23 - March 1)

It's Marcos' maiden appearance at all three. Seems that he chose to play in the States all the warm-up tournaments for the two big events in Indian Wells and Miami.

Re: Calendar

Any chance of us seeing Marcos in Rhodes 125k+H? Hard court tournament in April-May. If Marcos is out of top50 then, he should definetely play. Hopfully he won't be out of the top 50 then though .

Re: Calendar

They changed it to May and now its on clay
I think then just RG. You don't want to spend too much time on clay coz then u can get injuured (and we know what marcos + injury =). I hope he plays 2 wimbledon warm ups since he does great on grass. And then I hope he comes and plays in the US every week or almost every week. I'm thinking of taking a ferry over to New Haven to see him before the US Open

Re: Calendar

He's in the ALT list for Halle, so he'll probably play there. I hope he plays another grass warmup in the following week as well (preferably in England ), since it's such a good surface for his game. Maybe he'll go to The Boodles Challenge exhibition, like last year.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?
