Arrivederci Roma! Marcos at Internationali d' Italia

I thought the title was appropriate looking at Marco's draw

Still i think he has a good chance against Moya even if it's on clay and considering that Marcos lost to him on hard already this year! Charly has been out of form lately and Marcos plays better in the 1st round when he is not the favourite! But even if he wins this Nadal is too near Here is the draw:

(1) FEDERER, Roger SUI v BYE
ALMAGRO, Nicolas ESP v HENMAN, Tim GBR
(WC) VOLANDRI, Filippo ITA v (Q) Gabashvili, Teimuraz RUS
VERDASCO, Fernando ESP v (13) GASQUET, Richard FRA

(12) BERDYCH, Tomas CZE v NIEMINEN, Jarkko FIN
WAWRINKA, Stanislas SUI v (Q) Montanes, Albert ESP
ACASUSO, Jose ARG v VERKERK, Martin NED
BYE v (8) LJUBICIC, Ivan CRO

(3) RODDICK, Andy USA v BYE
GAUDIO, Gaston ARG v FISH, Mardy USA
CHELA, Juan Ignacio ARG v GICQUEL, Marc FRA
ANDREEV, Igor RUS v (14) FERRER, David ESP

(9) BLAKE, James USA v MONFILS, Gael FRA
(Q) Massu, Nicolas CHI v (WC) BOLELLI, Simone ITA
BJORKMAN, Jonas SWE v TURSUNOV, Dmitry RUS
BYE v (6) GONZALEZ, Fernando CHI

(7) ROBREDO, Tommy ESP v BYE
HEWITT, Lleyton AUS v (Q) Hernandez, Oscar ESP

(16) FERRERO, Juan Carlos ESP v HRBATY, Dominik SVK
(WC) STARACE, Potito ITA v CALLERI, Agustin ARG
(Q) Delic, Amer USA v SAFIN, Marat RUS
BYE v (4) DAVYDENKO, Nikolay RUS

(5) DJOKOVIC, Novak SRB v BYE
BECKER, Benjamin GER v SODERLING, Robin SWE
BAGHDATIS, Marcos CYP v MOYA, Carlos ESP
STEPANEK, Radek CZE v (11) HAAS, Tommy GER

(15) YOUZHNY, Mikhail RUS v BENNETEAU, Julien FRA
ROCHUS, Olivier BEL v (Q) Llodra, Michael FRA

Well done marcos!! He played really high quality tennis. I think it was one of his best matches.

He was ... a totally different Marcos. Aggressive, confident and passionate. Moya had no chance today and I think nobody would!!

Temptation ...

Marcos won and that's good enough, though I can see Djokovic hitting high balls to Marcos's forehand and if he can handle that, then all the better for him.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
