Re: TT Changes 2014 (Poll 1) - Minimum number of Main Draw matches in singles R1

I voted Manager's decision.

The 4 matches for the final qualifying round are often as interesting and challenging to predict as any round 1 main draw match, and I hate seeing the Tuesday OOP split with perhaps 2 round 1 matches and 6 round 2 matches. Far more work for the manager, and more difficult for the players not knowing who their round 2 opponent is going to be.

Of course there will be occasions where the FQR matches look to be one-sided, and perhaps the 1 or 2 MD matches are as well. In this case of course some Tuesday matches should be chosen to avoid most of the ties going to PTS or GD. However this should be the exception, and our managers are experienced enough to know when to take this option.
