Thanks Ruben!, but in first example player A and B have 1 match correct and 1 SR correct... what is the argument for the victory ?

When they are equal on wins and SRs we use SR shootout and see who was best for SR1. That is player A, since he gave the winner a set. It is always better to have loser 2-1 than loser 2-0, but it only matters for SR shootout.

Look at rule 4.2.2 c)

O ok, it were hypothetical examples? Because in the second example massu retired, thought that in that case sr in the first example wouldn't count either. But following exactly what you posted, you were indeed right!

Yes I'm curious if the new managers are because they are asking SR questions that the spreadsheet solves automatically.

I know the manager of the tournament I'm playing this week is not using it.

Could someone take the time to explain to the new managers the advantages of the sheet? For peixe15 I imagine it would be an advantage if it came from someone who speaks Portuguese.

Re: Ask the board Thread

I use all in manual form .At this moment I don't had any problems in my tournament. I only use the main draws maker of star. But right now i don't can to found the rankings of 17/03/2014, anyways, I could devote to manage only challengers and I would have no problems in doing everything manual

Updates to the sfar entry maker has been discontinued, so the 17/03-14 rankings will not appear there. As there is not much difference between 3/3 and 17/3 you could use the former for an outline and then do manual corrections afterwards from the published rankings, but that is of course not a long term solution. I know some are working on alternatives.

If manual works for you then that is perfectly fine.
