Re: Ask the board Thread

We only had one GS tournament where not all players get in. But at least all could play qualies as a few forgot to send and ALTs got in.
So it's assumed anybody tries USO and if you don't reach main draw there you can play Como. The key is: MD in singles and doubles. If you are in one of these main draws you may not play como. So the experience is that there aren't more than 40 players in GS first week challengers.
In second week Top 30 players are behind anybody else and a few players forget to commit until first deadline or even don't play. So usually it's always possible to play challenger qualies for unranked players when you commit before first deadline.
So commit for Como and USO until tomorrow 6pm CEST and you'll be able to try both.

E.g. have a look at Marburg challenger which was during Wimby first week: Tennis Tipping #26 - Marburg CH | Congrats to cah_ & frici/lucian_iasi!

Sorry if I misinterpret something.
Sorry Laszlo - I see you'd asked me this in my Inbox - I'm managing two events at once, one is a two-round in two dayer and have only just cleared my mailbox out and saw it there.

Of course you and everyone is always welcome - and immediately as well

You can contact me on my TF Account or adriancollins@hotmail.com. I rarely log on here anymore as became TF Admin.

What happens in a 2-day round? Do they have to forget on both days to be replaced by a LL in R2?

Yes. Sending on one day is enough to avoid a WO.

Re: Ask the board Thread

How we deal with a user banning which is done while matches are played? Should the banned user advance to next round although he is banned or should his opponent get a w/o?

I suppose if the person sent picks before their ban was given they are still valid for that match. ??????????

Re: Ask the board Thread

Yeah that's my feeling, too. But Federer in 2 asked if the opponents of him and his banned doubles partner can advance to next round...

Re: Ask the board Thread

It might be worth including this subject for when we have the changes thread as I don't think it's covered in the rules.

Re: Ask the board Thread

Hi I also have a little problem with this like HowManyTimes was banned Federer in 2 look another partner to get in the US Open like Alt (w/ LutherReigns). The problem is that HowManyTimes/Federer in 2 have a bye in First Round and like the draw was made I don't if Federer in 2 can be Alt or not

Always bel18ved.

Re: Ask the board Thread

In the past, picks from banned players were accepted as long as they were sent before the ban.

I copy/pasted the wrong round under today's OOP. Should I cancel first round for today?

Re: Ask the board Thread

Yes, I would say so if there's not enough time for a new OOP to be done.

Re: Ask the board Thread

It depends on the country you have in TT rankings. So first decision depends on your flag. But you can switch your country in offseason (December) so you can play DC for any other country in the following year.

TT Singles: W 2014: Heilbronn I; 2013: Marseille, Sarasota; 2012: Blois Fut QF 2012: USOpen

TT Singles ranking: 74 (High: 51)

TT Doubles: W 2017: Acapulco (w/ supertom) 2016: Madrid, Meerbusch; 2015: Wimbledon, Gstaad, Moscow, Sarasota, Fergana; 2013: Winston-Salem, Sarajevo; 2012: Antalya, Tiburon; 2011: Izmir (w/ appleGirl); SF 2013, 2012: USOpen (w/ appleGirl);

TT Doubles ranking: 24 (High: 10)
