Re: Ask the board Thread

I just want to say that I am managing Newport in PAW and I couldn't find any site where it said that the QF was going to be played in two days.

Oh I see, yes, it's 42,500 Euros this year.

One last thing, what does the +H mean after the prize money for some CH's?

Re: Ask the board Thread

It means the challenger provides hospitality to the players, which raises the tournament level in terms of ranking points. A 50K + H event gives the same amount of points as a 75K one.

1.Total # of Set Ratios correct > if same then

Note: The SR (2-0/2-1) is not counted when there's a retirement.

2. Set Ratio shoot-out: 1-?? (compare SR1, SR2, SR3, etc.) > if same then

Note: Retirements count for the SR shootout (only correct winners, not the SR).

Note #2: When both players pick the loser, the shoot-out win goes to the one who gave more sets to the winner. This rule is not used when there's a retirement.

Everyone has Kondo 2-0 in the first match - so nothing to separate teams

so you move on to the second match - SOEDA 21

Ekin and Murraynizer both have Soeda 2-1, opponents 2-0 = so Ekin and Murraynizer win

Re: Ask the board Thread

The thing is I thought that kind of difference would appear on spreadsheet as ShootOut SR2 since it doesn't have to go to PTS.
Thank you AdeyC, you are always a great support

Re: Ask the board Thread

If both players don't send in 1QR then there will be a lucky loser for FQR.

However, what if 1QR was a two-day round and both players sent for day 1 but neither player sent for day 2 (and did not send for FQR) would there be a lucky loser? Or do we take the decision from Day 1 and promote 'missing picks' to FQR.

I have this situation in Bogota between Redkop and andyroddlick

Tennis Tipping - Bogota - Congrats Hidalgo & Fickelgruber/supertom!!!!!

Re: Ask the board Thread

If one player of a doubles team doesn't pick, can his partner still win the match even if both opponents pick?

So A/B v C/D

A picks 4 matches correctly
B picks 5 matches correctly
C picks 11 matches correctly
Missing picks from D

Who wins?

Doubles: 140
