I've never seen someone commit someone for no reason before If this is happening, then I can understand the problem, but I've never seen that before.
Don't take him seriously.
Of course that's not really happening.

Win in the game, not by changing the rules.
Call me very stupid then and an idiot apparently
One could say you are the one that wants to gain an advantage by allowing your doubles partner to commit for you so you can wait as long as possible up to the deadline.
It just seems logical to me. You commit. You send picks. You play the game.

Maybe we should just let doubles partners send picks on behalf of their partner

That's a very good point! Why would a player with a regular doubles partner "have a priority" over singles players who don't have regular partners or don't play doubles at all?

No...it takes all of a minute to go online and commit, even if you are waiting until the last day. If you forget, you forget. I have forgotten on occasion...I'm sure just about everyone has...that is life.

I'm pretty sure it is...

i.e Some people are committing their partners EVERY week, and surely their partners could commit themselves at least 1 week!

I like this, except no one can ever be sure who each players' permanent partner is.

Re: Poll: Singles commitments by another person

I dont think some people understand some things here.

There are players and players of TT.

You have the average 25 years old male that can enter the internet every time because he has no other things to do, per xample like me.
You have women, singles ladies.
You also have people with family or people that travel sometimes.

How many times I committ my friend Belludal in the past when he was traveling and had no internet conection? At least 3 or 4 times in 2 years. The rule was very nice for him because it allowed for me to sign him up.

What would I do if the rule was changed, easily I would simply take his password and sign him up.

I dont think anyone wants to members of MTF to take other people passwords only to sign them up for tournaments, right? Because thats what addicted TT players would do.

I dont deserve to play for them

Re: Poll: Singles commitments by another person

I love how people with families and those that have to travel and have no freakin time can't sign themselves up for the tournaments(which takes considerably less time than making picks every day), but they can easily send their picks when the tournament starts. You really wanna make us believe that?

Unless you guys are cheating your way through the tournaments with password exchanges and double accounts this whole arguement really doesn't make sense.

is different.

You can send picks equal to your partner. But can't analyze all tournaments, with few time.
