I guess that this is something that probably needs to be made clearer for future.

yeah thinking about it more carefully I agree with you. 'in with No 1, but if not with No 2 type committments'
would be a disaster for managers. The person would have to definitively withdraw with old partner something like 4-5 hours before deadline and go to the back of the line with new partner.

Not a potential manager but I use the first post in this thread to be aware of upcoming events. What do the asterisks mean next to some of them?

I ROOT FOR:

I have my tournament in Baranquilla as anyone who's still in now (singles 3r and doubles 2r) is out of qualifying and singles 4R and doubles 3R is out of main draw

Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012

I’ve just had a PM from Chris84 who’s told me that his opponent (volc0mizado) had agreed that his picks could be counted for Miami – he’d forgotten to send on time - and that Martin was going to check with the Board if this was going to be OK. Martin has apparently checked with the Board already (don’t know if by PM’s as I can't see anything here??). I don’t know anything about this myself – and as Martin is out for the evening I have sent volc0mizado a PM to send picks for tomorrow just in case this is agreed.

You can contact me on my TF Account or adriancollins@hotmail.com. I rarely log on here anymore as became TF Admin.

Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012

From the board only Murilo (keqtqiadv) and I are available at the moment. I would not count these picks, because it wold bring TT a lot of further discussions about accepting late picks.

It would be good if you could wait for Murilo to post his view

I don't have the picks myself anyway, they must have been sent to Martin only. I'm managing doubles - Martin singles. Martin forwarded me his singles spreadsheet just after the diffs were posted before he went out for the evening and these picks arent included on the spread-sheet.

Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012

i understand that decision, although i thought in the interests of good sportsmanship it would have been nice to allow a little leeway. nevertheless, major credit to my opponent volc0mizado

Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012

Only 4 matches in Le Gosier on Monday.

Is it okay make the R32 Singles over two days and split the OOP on Tuesday to be both R32 and R16 Singles?

Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012

I have a situation in Cividino where I'd like to get an oppinion from someone more experienced.

2nd round in singles.

Player B and player L had no diffs (there were diffs in SR1 PTS match but this match was cancelled)

Since shootout and PTS do not help to find the winner, it goes to CB.
There is only one previous round and in that round they didn't have diffs either, both had 5 winners and 5 SRs correct in the same matches.

Then it goes to PTS of the first round:

Code:
	Score Player B	Player L
SR1: GAIO 64 76 GAIO 64 62	GAIO 6-4 6-3
SR2: CRUGNOLA 63 75	CRUGNOLA 75 62	CRUGNOLA 6-4 6-3
SR3: BORTOLOTTI 76 76	CREPALDI 75 63	CREPALDI 6-4 6-3
SR4: BREZAC 64 64	BREZAC 76 61	BREZAC 6-4 6-3
SR1: 7-7
SR2: 7-7
SR3: 4-4
SR4: 4-7 => player L wins
