Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012

But I have another question, and for that I couldn't find an answer: the players who didn't send picks for the only QR should also be placed on the LL list or not? The rules only say LLs should be ordered by number of correct picks, etc etc, but there is nothing saying the had to send picks.

TT Palmarès

Titles: Astana 2 CH '11, Challenger Tour Finals '11, Kuala Lumpur '12 (w/Dudisela75), Bressuire Futures '13 (w/Marita)

Finals: Fürth CH '11, Orleans CH '11, Petange CH '12, TT Euro '12 (w/Vilnietè)

SF: Australian Open '12, Memphis '12

Those that didn't send go to the bottom of the LL list - then as there is nothing to differentiate between them, they go in ranking order, if they're unranked players they go in committment order.

Thanks Adey! That's what I thought reasonable to do, too

I have a question concerning the post of AdeyC in Bratislava:

I have now the case in Guayaquil (next week). The problem is that the draw makers don't take into account the last rules: "they are not able to be seeded". I just wonder how it does work in this case => should I adapt manually the draw in order not to seed the player in the TOP 30?

Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012

I have a question regarding the interesting schedule for week 47... The tournaments are Toyota, Tyumen, and Antalya and they are all Eurasian tournaments so it makes it a really difficult time difference for any players in the Western hemisphere. My suggestion is to add another tournament such as Mazatlan Fut. or Foz Do Iguacu Fut. (or both?) so that everyone can find a tournament within a reasonable time zone as well as there being enough tournaments so that the qualifying draws don't have to be enlarged. I really hope it isn't too late for a change

W Houston and Samarkand Singles W Charlottesville W Lermontov W ATP Bastad W Bol Fut W Orleans (w/MathMul) W Cordenons (w/dinkulpus) Tashkent S&D (w/ Mr Brightside)

Yeah, you should. The draw maker is just a tool we use, it isn't completely correct.

I think there is more often that a timezone is not really suitable for the tournaments. But if 12 hours sending time is considered, it should not be a too big problem. I would say that we prefer challengers over futures, as they have more interesting player. But if other people disagree, I would love to hear!

It would really screw me over imo because of school. What's the harm in adding another Futures? There was 1 week with 3 futures! It would help a lot. Hopefully I can get more people to speak out.

I believe sfar (Sergio) is aware of this issue and it's on his list of things to look at when time permits him to.

I'll work on this soon, I'll tell you when it's done on the Entry List Maker thread.

Aie.. Bad news: I will have no internet connection next week from Friday to Sunday. Is there anybody that can manage the SF & F in Guayaquil next week? I don't think it will take too much time!

Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012

I need your help:

I am in this case: "If the picked player of either TT-player loses or if there's a retirement, the PTS doesn't count for GD purposes; all matches are GD matches in the first rounds"

And I have this:
Code:
 Cah_
GALDOS 64 64
SERRANO 64 63
GARZA 63 63
MARTINEZ 75 64
Code:
Daniel_amr
GALDOS 76 63
SERRANO 63 64
GARZA 76 61
LONDERO 76 76
Code:
 Real results:
GALGOS 76 75
SCARAVILI 63 75
GARZA 61 62
MARTINEZ 63 41 Ret.
Shoudl I calculate the GD for all matches (><') or for the first one?

Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012

Cah won, because he pick Martinez, in spreadsheet just write 1 or 2 in winner column and result should stay empty

Retired matches not count for SRs
