Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012 - Need manager for Tyumen

I have a question:
Single match: Kissing_rain vs Jackyjones: SRs:3-3 and it is noticed on the Excel basis jackjones winner but for me 3-3 Shoot Out SR1 and it is Kissing_rain (Good SR). But kissing_rain forget one pick (SR4). It is enough to give Jackjones winner?!

I'm not quite sure what you mean - can you either post both sets of picks on here or PM them to me and I'll look at them.

You can contact me on my TF Account or adriancollins@hotmail.com. I rarely log on here anymore as became TF Admin.

Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012 - Need manager for Tyumen

Hey guys,

Could you have a look at this page:
Tennis Tipping - Valencia - Congrats to Hellcat and mcarvalho/Machado

Basiscally it boils down to this:

My reply:
Even if that manager had taken over for one day and posted the OOP? I know it was in the thread title, but just sent picks on the auto pilot (in this case to the person that posted the OOP).

Does Hellcat have any say in this? What if he's ok with my picks being counted?

I think it would be quite harsh on me to not count the picks. I could make a printscreen with the time stamp, showing I sent them in time, if you'd like to.

Thanks in advance for the effort,

..

Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012

It's my first time managing, so I have a beginner question: one player (currently supposed to play QD) requested an SE, and this will only be resolved quite late on Friday due to time differences, so I need to do QD before that. How should I proceed? Should I make the QD with him and, in the case he gets the SE, give the highest ranked a bye/get someone from the ALT list? I presume that's it, but I'd like someone to confirm.

TT Palmarès

Titles: Astana 2 CH '11, Challenger Tour Finals '11, Kuala Lumpur '12 (w/Dudisela75), Bressuire Futures '13 (w/Marita)

Finals: Fürth CH '11, Orleans CH '11, Petange CH '12, TT Euro '12 (w/Vilnietè)

SF: Australian Open '12, Memphis '12

Well, i guess there is nothing that I can do than accept it. I think it is really harsh, especially considering someone else took over for just one day. It might be something to discuss during the off season. It would be helpful as well, I think, that the OOP is posted by the manager of the next days (if the current rules stand).

"If the main draw is to be made before a potential Special Exempt player plays on Friday, then such place(s) shall be drawn in the same manner as qualifier, i.e., four qualifiers ("Q") and one or two "SE" depending on whether there are one or two possibilities. Each of the five or six slots are marked "Q/SE." As soon as the "SE" match results are known, either the "SE" or the next Direct Acceptance (if the SE lost) is randomly drawn and inserted into the draw."

If the result isnt' known at the time of the qualifying draw - include that player in the qually draw - if that player is then granted the SE he/she will then get the place in the main draw that is marked Q/SE, if that player loses then the spot that is then left in the main draw should then filled by the next Directly accepted player - the highest ranked player in qualifying.

The space that is then created in the qualifying draw is filled with the ALT.

Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012

The MD shouldn't be a problem - I can do it on Saturday morning after resolving the SE. My doubt is what to do about the QD if the player gets the SE (most likely there will be no ALTs): he would then move out of QD, what should I do with the opened spot? Move it so the highest ranked player without a bye gets one also?

Well, this is not always possible. So, people should just read the OOP, that is not that hard, right?

Is simple, guy. You need only read the post of OOP. The manager have much work, the players have only 1 obligation, read post of OOP.

Then, next time, read all.
