Re: Players Suspected Of Playing Tennis Tipping With Multiple Accounts

I know, but at least it should have the name of each of them, and I know the "age" of natytaty, diego and ariel, so I can calculate if the number is correct with the ages.

Nationally recognised ID such as passport, driving license, etc. They can blank out personal info which is not required.

but I cant see how natytaty is relationed with all the others.

And diego36arg is said to be the one with more than one ACC. locoxcañas is only his brother.

SO lets say if your brother commits a crime, should you go to prison also?

Re: Players Suspected Of Playing Tennis Tipping With Multiple Accounts

is SUSPENSION valid from today onwards? i mean.. one of the suspended players is playing QF and only 1 match is to be determined to know the winner..

(on a challenger)

will he be suspended from this QF match? (suppossed to be finished by today but rain delayed the final match at 4-4 Marach - Koubek) or in case he wins (locoxcañas) will he be let to play SF or be suspended there?

or will he be allowed to finish his participation in the whole tournament normally and banning will start from next week onwards?

EDIT: i wrote suspision instead of suspension

Re: Players Suspected Of Playing Tennis Tipping With Multiple Accounts

I suppose if they were all the same person, then they could never all be online at the same time, unless they were logged in on different computers

I guess if anyone spots that 2 or more of these usernames are online at the same time, then it would be likely that those usernames are actually different people (of course, it wouldn't actually prove whether they are all controlled by the same person or not)

I don't know whether it is possible or not to find out, but if there is some kind of record of activity on the forum, then if 2 'people' had never been online at the same time as each other, then that may be an indicator that they are controlled by the same person

You can log on Firefox (for example) with an account and in IE with another at the right same time...

In previous instances suspensions were imposed at the exact moment that the banning was done, as I think in Newport last year someone was banned temporarily from MTF midway through a tournament, and were taken out of the tournament as soon as word that they were banned got to the management team.

If the same thing is applied here, then they would have to forfeit any match that was still be played when the suspension was imposed

It was just an idea that I had to try and prove this one way or the other... if that is the case then obviously they can be controlled by 2 people at once (I suppose my point about the possibilty they have never both been online at the same time could still be valid though)

I know, I agree with you, just thought about the possibility.

Re: Players Suspected Of Playing Tennis Tipping With Multiple Accounts

i think in ATP they are allowed to finish the tourney .. i think it should be left to play until losing.. but.. well.. thats what i think

i think when cañas was suspended..at wimbledon..in 2005..he kinda retired .. but wasnt forced to withdraw from the tourney because of doping accusations.. he retired himself.. thats what i know about

It was at Roland Garros, and he finished playing, but the situation was different.

If he is a cheater I think he should be gone immediately. That said, it sounds like he is but is he really?

Re: Players Suspected Of Playing Tennis Tipping With Multiple Accounts

its hard to prove.. just like doping..you need a couple of tests.. and that takes time.. here as well..

to be honest, i do think natytaty, jessy and all but locoxcañas and diego36arg are fake

those 2 are different ( edit: talking about loco and diego), they re regular posters at my thread (TT DDL) but nothing about the others..

the ones i think are fake kinda knew where to sign up as soon as they got their accounts (jessy.. n co) where to post.. etc.. just like out of the blue.. but..well..

Re: Players Suspected Of Playing Tennis Tipping With Multiple Accounts

Locoxcanas joins 10 April 2007
Diego36 arg joins 20 April 2007
Natytay83 joins 10 May 2007
JESY1983 joins 10 May 2007
JULYTOTAL joins 12 May 2007
Loren2007 joins 18 May 2007

All these members joining MTF from Argentina.
All these members instantly signing up for TT tournaments

At this rate by the end of the year 95% of MTF members will be from Argentina

You can run this by the MTF gurus who can say whether there has ever been a surge of new members from any one region in any such period.

Everything about these accounts appears suspicious. They have all been given a chance to identify themselves if they are real people.
