Good advice. I wear a straw hat always, except in the early mornings. Drinking is a must and knowing the signs of dehydration is good too. Symptoms are: irritableness, loss of appetite, headache, swolen fingers, toes. Also if you find you can go for hours on end without urinating -- that's NOT a good thing.
And then of course it gets worse from there. On very hot days, remember that dehydration can be culmulative from one day to the next. Drink a big glass of water before going to bed at night because the body resets at night.
