Re: Official Alex Bogomolov Cheering Thread

Well then. Excellent! He is nowhere to be seen, so this week I just need to worry that this 'Medhiri' guy doesn't knock out Oli, a la Moser!

I was so excited in early April... I saw the words 'Eitzinger df Bogomolov' (big thing, for Eitzinger lately). Then I noticed Alex retired from that match. Was he ok? (I'm stunned that Eitzinger went on to win!)

I just watched Bogie on Wimbledon live video on demand, watching his hot looking wife.

I think seeing him watching his wife play has to do with him. Maybe not his tennis, but it has to do with him

Re: Official Alex Bogomolov Cheering Thread

Good to hear he's out there being supportive and what not.

What is he up to lately... I haven't been paying attention to his ranking. Stagnant? Up? Down? I'm on my own little Jonas and Oli bandwagon right now, and am pretty much oblivious to most guys not in my signature (even the ones I like!!)

Re: Official Alex Bogomolov Cheering Thread

Did he play quallies? I wasn't sure if his pass at Wimby was a LL pass or a player guest.. the passes look the same - Eric Butorac & Chris Drake showed me theirs. I want a wife who is top #100 WTA, so I can just travel with her and do nothing

Re: Official Alex Bogomolov Cheering Thread

He played qualies. He plays his own schedule, he doesn't just travel with his wife and do nothing. Slams are one of the few times during the year they get to be together.

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

Re: Official Alex Bogomolov Cheering Thread

Let me make clear, this was not an insult to Alex? And I was not even stating this is what he does, just what I want to do.

Re: Official Alex Bogomolov Cheering Thread

So much for this being a "cheering" thread for Alex. This gossip has begun . If I could delete this thread so that my SN is not shown as a thread starter I would do it in a heart beat.

Second, it doesn't take a lot of effort to know what Alex is up to. There is an existing website.

Re: Official Alex Bogomolov Cheering Thread

Since when do cheering threads have to be purely about following the professional pursuits of a player? I really just fail to see what is worth getting upset about when someone merely posts that they saw him watching his wife play. It's not like anyone said anything bad about him

Gosh.
