I know it's like no one took any pics of him. He's easy on the eyes so there should be lots.

Re: Official Alex Bogomolov Cheering Thread

Congrats to Alex for a good run at AO. He got his first GS win in dramatic fashion no less. I'm bummed he lost but things look good for the rest of the year.

After his match they had a little interview and Alex looked tired. He stated as much but seemed really positive.

Re: Official Alex Bogomolov Cheering Thread

woooooowww..... I was just catching up in the TennisWeek forum. I cannot believe how judgemental they are being. Are they all WTA fans or what Absolute idiots. Yes, he can act like a two year old at times when he's on the court. He can be loud and definitely give off the 'i'm a major asshole' vibe. But... to attack him as a person is absurd. "No respect for fans" they say? This is the guy that leans over the stands to give you a high five for watching his match. The guy who apologises sincerely after dripping sweat onto a photo i had of him and i... after I yelled at him (nicely, post-match) for doing so

He might be a boofhead on the court at times, but full points for off court behaviour with me... until he plays/destroys someone in my signature then I might get a little bit annoyed

It's ok, I won't hold that against him because:
1. Jurgen is doing ok now, even if he does have a weird hairstyle (which I dreamt about last night! OMG!)
2. Alex Popp was on the next court, so I watched more of that match instead ^_^ Ahh... Alex (edit: Bogomolov. Well, Popp too...) is a good man lol!

I'm almost up to scanning my SLR pics (my actual photos, instead of digital pics) and have an alex one which I'll put up later. But for now, I need to get ready for the Wheelchair tennis event in Sydney

Re: Official Alex Bogomolov Cheering Thread

eeeppp Bogie has Luczak in the 1st rnd of qualies in Memphis. Peter does have a win over Bogie but that was in 02 and a lot has changed since then. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one.

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

In the IW qualies, Alex will play Thierry Ascione on Stadium 2 at 10 am on Wednesday. Go Alex!

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

Alex lost a tough 3 set match to Ascione (3rd set tiebreak).
