Go Russia!!!

Now that Misha is playing so solidly we have great chances

I doubt Olkhovski will play because he doesn't seem to have a good realtionship with Zhenya, I saw them play doubles at last years DC if I'm not mistaken they played against Sweden together and weren't a good team, didn't look like they even wanted to win, weren't supporting each other at all... well at least it looked that way.

ideally Russia to win and Zhenya not to retire would be just fantastic

he should win another 2 slams at least before he goes

Tarpishev was the commentator on one of Zhenya's matches during Wimbledon and he said he was pretty sure that he will continue playing even after they win, he said Zhenya was saying he would retire just because he was tired

I really hope that to be true, Nina

Btw, Marat & Zhenya are now starting to play doubles together in Toronto as a warm-up to DC practice.

As the Egg said in the Toronto forum, Yevgeny's record against Cañas is getting ridiculous. Yevgeny is going to see him again in Davis Cup and I'm starting to seriously worry. Cañas & Nalbandian are having fabulous years so far.

go Cañas & Nalbandian!!! not to mention Squillari, Gaudio, Acasuso, and Coria. so many Argies to choose from!!!

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

I'm rooting for Russia to win the Cup this year! Udachi Russia! But I'm worried about Argentina! Beating them on any surface is going to be a life and death struggle!

Somewhere, TC has a Cheshire cat grin! But wouldn't it be funny if Argentina beat Russia, but America led by Andy Roddick beat Argentina in the Davis Cup Final. It could happen you know!

Egalite!

I`m more than sure that Russia will qualify for the final. I`m that positive that I`m even going to visit the other Davis Cup tie France vs. US to examine our future opponents

Lasto beth nin, tolo dan nan galad...

Not 100% confirmed but....

!!! (although it's unfortunate for Canas) , read that Canas will be out of US Open cos of a stress fracture in his hand and he will also be missing the DC semi-finals....

for Canas though....
