IMG Signs Russian Tennis Player Andrey Kuznetsov
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - 01/21/11) IMG Worldwide, the global sports and media company, announced today that it signed rising Russian tennis star, 19 year-old, Andrey Kuznetsov for management and representation.
Born in Tula, Russia in 1991, Kuznetsov began playing tennis at age four with his father, Alexander, who is a tennis coach. Nicknamed, "Andreek" he is considered one of the top junior players in the world and the best young player in Russia. He captured the world's attention by winning the 2009 Wimbledon Boys singles title and as runner-up at the 2010 Poznań Porsche Open, part of the ATP Challenger Tour. His favorite surfaces to play on are clay and grass.
