Re: Bryan Twins Forum Request

I'm pretty much agreeing with everyone here - I don't really see why they shouldn't have a forum, they're re-vamping the doubles scene, will be partners forever and are practically one person even though they're two. Having a forum for them, labeled "the Bryan Brothers" won't do any harm, and heck, it'll shut us up because we won't go down without a fight.

Thanks for reconsidering, Gravity

Yeah, even the ATP Put up a fan zone page for them, just treated them like one entity!!

Re: Bryan Twins Forum Request

Boo...Hissss
Still no progress

I know very little about the technical difficulty of setting up a new forum. Is it really that complicated a procedure that makes getting this new one such a big deal? Or is it simply a specific doubles-hating admin who is stubbornly refusing to give in to the wishes of those who have been asking for what has turned into a ridiculously long period of time? Not that we don't all appreciate the work that the admins do to set these things up for the technologically challenged such as myself. We do appreciate it, but the fans here have provided a very logical argument for their case and have become extremely frustrated at the weak response. Can someone explain the continued resistance because it makes no sense that these guys aren't considered worthy of a forum. How many grand slam titles does someone need to win or how many weeks to they need to be at #1 before they can get a forum of their own?

Still waiting...though not so patiently any longer!

On the eve of the Roddick/Cilic match, my brother made Seafood Marinara. Can't eat it,
it's not part of the diet; it is enemy food. ie. Marin-ara Cilic.
I also did not eat Curry 'cos it rhymes with Murray.

Re: Bryan Twins Forum Request

doubles teams are proned to change partners - if you give the bryan twins a forum you have to give those doubles teams that have good support as well, and if that happens and the team changes it is a hassle to keep changing the forums as well

i'm just guessing here as to why they don't give forums for doubles, singles only.

Re: Bryan Twins Forum Request

But I think things should be examined on a case-by-case basis and the Bryans are not going to start playing with other partners. Plus, they're the only doubles team that's really transcending the sport, doing a lot of publicity, gaining new fans, making appearances, etc. I don't think it's logical to compare them to the normal doubles players who switch teams all the time.

Re: Bryan Twins Forum Request

I really don't understand, why don't they have their own forum!
A lot of people like them and would like to talk about them... And yeah, they are almost the one man! For example, I can't imagine one Bryan without enother on court!
Pease, make this forum!!!! We really need it!

Re: Bryan Twins Forum Request

Bob Bryan is playing singles in Las Vegas next week. So can we have a Bob Bryan forum and we'll just talk about the brothers as a team there, too?

Re: Bryan Twins Forum Request

rather than have an uproar from everyone why don't you just make the damn forum, it is successful or causes too much hassle then pull it from the board but you can't make an assumption that these things will happen. The bryans are practically one person dude, one doesn't be without the other (except when bob plays doubles which is incredibly rare).
Just make the forum please...there's more support/posts in this one thread than there is in some of the player forums y'all have already got. which is why i'm so surprised that there's this ridiculous amount of time being wasted on something as simple as creating another forum.

This is what's great about package deals: you get more bang for your buck.

On hiatus, just because.

Re: Bryan Twins Forum Request

I have discussed this with the rest of the team here and I'm pleased to announce your arguments were deemed valid, and that it was decided you should get your forum. It's now accessible here:
