Re: No Fabrice Santoro forum?

I need to rave about two-handed slices and dropshots, and there's nowhere to do it!!!!

Fabrice definitely deserves a forum. Far less interesting players with half his longetivity have one.

Thanks for the support cobalt60, but we don't seem to be making too much progress on this

Re: No Fabrice Santoro forum?

If Fabrice causes people to write of him as a wizard, surely he deserves a forum!

Santoro and his chamber of secrets
Patrick Miles
January 21, 2006

FABRICE SANTORO was unable to confirm yesterday that he had been offered the job as tennis master at St Hogwarts.

Rumour has it that the Frenchman is being lined up for a role in Harry Potter and the Two-handed Prince.

But Santoro was too exhausted to comment yesterday as he reflected on his five-set victory over Gaston Gaudio that propelled him into the fourth round of the Australian Open for the second time in 14 appearances.

At 33, the unseeded Santoro is the oldest man remaining in the draw, perhaps the wisest and certainly the most unorthodox.

His wizardry has proved to be the undoing of many a foe, and his double-fisted slice forehand is the wand with which he casts a potent spell.

Gaudio, the 2004 French Open champion, fought back from a two-set deficit and a break in the third before being finally bewitched, 6-3 6-2 5-7 1-6 6-4 in 3hr47min.

On hiatus, just because.
