Re: Ask MTF Mods

Thanx for explanation.

But still didn't know that phrases like " Fuck off " and " moron " used against players were considering so offensive, specially that they are inappropriate language infraction worth? if i used such terms against other poster that would be different pair of socks, but against player... maybe this is just my point of view but you can find expressions like those one in zillion posts.

Anyway I am aware that proving your point is impossible at this place so at least found out for what have I been accused. till now wasn't aware neither of that

sorry guys but this situation looks to me like classic " look, samanosuke hasn't been infractioned of warned for months already, lets give him a note that we still take care of him " case

Re: Ask MTF Mods

Yesterday I have witnessed to posts which led to ban of one member. It was about he/she called Cilic as a cheater and those posts got deleted. So my question would be: Why is forbidden to call Cilic with such name ?

I know, Cilic and his team said he was innocent and wrongly accused but as far as I know his ban was reduced from 9 to 4 months, so officially he was guilty ?

Re: Ask MTF Mods

Even didn't get an answer on above question really hopping to get logical explanation of next one. If you don't want to discus about it here you can answer me on PM.

Few months ago I was banned for personal attack for calling one poster as teenage felon ( the same one who is now a mod btw ), didn't see any justice in it but OK law is law, it's the same for everybody i thought .

Yesterday I was called as Mr. Goebbels, the post got deleted but any measures against author of that post haven't been taken.

So my question would be by which standards is calling someone as "teenage felon" worse than calling somebody as one of biggest war criminals in history, responded for death of thousands people ?

Thank you

As long as he's ok with that

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Not sure when it came into place, must have been just a few weeks ago, but at least you only have to do it once and the questions aren't tough.

Are warnings given to lazy users who do not use the search feature before opening a new thread on the same topic?

Usually don't get an official warning, unless they do it again and again clearly by purpose and not just ignorance of the search feature. The threads generally just get merged or deleted. They might get a PM about it, particularly since new members tend to be very enthusiastic and make threads without knowing about the search function.

Re: Ask MTF Mods

Well said Sham. I can only add that if the poster ignores PM and continues it by purpose, will result a card for forum disruptions. Luckily it doesn't happen too often though

there would be a ban every 4 minutes. Given the current state of the affairs on MTF at the moment, the last thing we need are red cards for such things.
I too sometimes don't notice some WWW or results thread and I open one myself.
When I remember a thread on the same subject opened recently or whitin the last months I simply link it in the new thread and Mods will merge the two in most cases.
