Well, that was probably before my time, otherwise I would've overturned it. Unless it was blatantly obvious that such thread was posted for baiting purposes, nobody should get infracted for choosing the wrong forum

Yeah, it was before your time. But the reason given (and this is directly quoted) was:

Sorry for that, nothing else I can say.

Re: Ask MTF Mods

Isn't a premature to a draw release thread against General Messages rules?

Quote:
(4) Do not create threads

about results before the matches are really completed (e.g. "Player A def. Player B 6-4 6-4").
about premature discussions of draws until the draw is released.
So, how come this thread didn't get closed. It thrived well before the draw was released, LOL.

Re: Ask MTF Mods

This thread should've been created before the draw.

Now the draw is there, I don't see sense of closing it.

Obviously, now it's too late. But the draw was created several hours before the draw. You can check the time.

Just asking around out of curiosity.

Re: Ask MTF Mods

When my infractions expire, what does that exactly mean?

For example I am say 10 infractions away from Perma ban and have already 5 infractions, if those infractions expired I would be 15 infractions away?

Mark Lenders banged your girlfriend, I'm sorry to tell you that mate.

Re: Ask MTF Mods

For example.. you have 5 red card for baiting (two of them are expired) and you get a new one, the ban lenght will depend on active red cards, so 4th active baiting red.

But if you reach the maximum infraction, expired or not, gives the permaban.

Quotes from rules thread:

Quote:
"Expires" refers to period of time after which an infraction for a given offense will expire, i.e. no longer count, for the purposes of temporary bans.
Quote:
"Maximum" refers to the maximum number of infractions (expired or not) of the same type a user may receive before becoming a candidate for a permanent ban. All infractions, including those that have already expired, are counted when a user is being considered for a permanent ban.

Thanks for the responses

You can see if you click User CP on the right site.

If you don't, PM me as I wouldn't answer here for that question.

Re: Ask MTF Mods

It says 7 point(s) total but I've been told I was at around 12/13 reds (expired and not) in total, what does determine the 15 infractions in total (expired or not) rule? Reds or infractions points?

Re: Ask MTF Mods

7 infractions are living infractions. That counts for temporary bans.
Total infractions count for permanent ban.

You don't have that much.
You have 9 in total. I think 12/13 was including warnings.

Permanent ban.. 15 infractions in total, even the expired infractions.

Re: Ask MTF Mods

what is the maximum time you can apply against a red/yellow card? i got 4 from the same guy, and i applied against the last one, which was of course removed by the mod team(and i say of course, because that guy was giving me warnings for updating before he updated it...and i mean, forums are to share information...) so maybe i could apply against the other ones, by the way he gave me 2 for the same message(1 minute of difference), 1 for "forum disruptions", 1 for "editing over a mod´s change"
