A poster with infractions/bans becoming a mod? Ridiculous. It should be somebody with a clean sheet. World is coming to an end on MTF.

Awaiting my infraction for mod bashing any minute now because I dared to speak my mind

In fact, there are more than 1 moderator with a card to his name, and we have experienced no problems regarding that.

It makes me a bit sad that people here are so quick to judge, and I hope that the 6 new moderators will all be given a fair chance.
yeah I agree with you. Funny how some people who want second chances for themselves and others are so quick to pass judgment and throw stones. So what if someone got infracted or banned? Doesn't mean they can't grow up or reform as a poster and make a good moderator. That poster may know more about what is or isn't infraction-worthy than some goody-two-shoes who never comes close to crossing the line.

yeah, someone who spent last two years of life acting someone's shadow changes over the night . Interesting, shadow act stopped just when mod's application were opened

Re: Ask MTF Mods

Just let DM get on with his new job, no point verbally castigating those in charge for making this decision when we haven't seen how he performs as a moderator. Just give him some time, maybe we'll forget about the past as time goes by.

I do suggest certain grudges (Samanosuke and Lenders) are dropped from now on though, or at least not acted upon.

I am just making a general observation about those who say anyone with an infraction should be disqualified from being a moderator. I'm not speaking to a particular person or case.

Re: Ask MTF Mods

I would like to thank the mod team for revoking my ban.
One suggestion - it would be helpful to collate all threads about rules, bans, appeal on bans in one subforum. It took me a while to figure out what to do, and even than I was pretty clueless.

Noted

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Re: Ask MTF Mods

Why is new player forum voting taking so long?

Last year, it happened in April.
