This. This is stating an opinion about a player without calling him names.

Re: Ask MTF Mods

do yellow cards account in the '15 infractions' rule?

Re: Ask MTF Mods

So do I understand correctly that the player bashing rule is not in function yet so you can call a player a "p*thetic p*ece of sh*t" and nothing happens, but the backseat moderating rule is in use so you can't tell another poster that you reported him? Is that so?

Thanks in advance.

I don't understand your question.

We're still going to delete posts in extreme cases of player bashing. POS has never been allowed so if you stumble over posts of such nature, please feel free to report them.

And you are right about the backseat moderating, yes.

an example would be if I open a thread called 'Andreas Q&A' where people can ask you questions concerning you.

It can depend on the situation. If you are talking about your infraction today, remember, you can PM a moderator, admin or appeal it, but discussing its validity here is not the correct method.

what does it mean? rules should be clear enough in order to avoid infractions. what are these situations?

I haven't mentioned any particular case, don't know why you are jumping to this conclusion.

Concerning my infractionns counts I've sent you a PM about my first baiting infraction which I don't remember at all but I didn't get any reply. Since I've already noticed how easy it is to misscount this infractions I wanted a clear evidence about it.

A thread can be started if it fits within the rules. The rules can be found here.

this is self-evident. there's no mention about 'on behalf' threads being against the rules though I've recently been told by a mod that they are in fact against the rules.

If you follow the general rules, then you should be okay.

If you open a thread to bash another user, that is not ok. If you open a thread about another user to bait other users, that is not ok and so on.

Re: Ask MTF Mods

Also I've a question on this rule:
Step 1.

A post that is contrary to the forum rules may be deleted. Additionally, the poster may receive a private message or yellow card (warning) about the problematic post. However, a user will receive no more than 1 yellow card for any type of offence (if applicable - see below)

Does this mean a user would always get a yellow (or PM) for a particular type of offence or there are cases of direct red cards even when this particular offence has never been comitted before by said user?

I know this self-evident too as bashing and harassment are against the rules.
The point is I've been told 'on behalf' threads are against rules regardless of the intent of the op which I find very strange considering there are many examples against it.
