No, but moderators have the facility to interact with each other in private, and perhaps say things which could not be said in public. You may find that the mod in question will accept constructive criticism, or you may even find that you are wrong and they are doing a better job than you realise.

Re: Ask MTF Mods

I appreciate that, but I don't think that's the best way to solve this problem. I am not the only one who holds this view, I've been in contact with many other posters who hold this opinion as well, and they will back me up on this one. Does that change anything? Or are the moderators oblivious to popular opinion?

Re: Ask MTF Mods

I'm not a mod, despite my job title, so I have no idea how the mods react to popular opinion. I expect that they are conscious of it, as I am.
I do know that they have collective responsibility for all decisions, so it is no good saying "Mods A, B & C are ok but let's campaign for the removal of Mod X". I can only amplify what I said earlier, don't judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes.

If you have anything concrete or a specific complaint, I'd advise you to either face the problem and send that moderator a PM, or, if you prefer, you can express yourself to any of the other moderators.

But what if there are, say, 50+ posters or even more wanting one particular moderator/admin to be stripped of his position due to, say, abuse of power? Is there any action that can be taken?

MTF games titles:

Suicide Tennis (5): Wimbledon 2014, World Tour Finals 2015, Madrid 2015, Kuala Lumpur 2014 and Metz 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 WTF, 1 Masters 1000, 2 ATP 250; 2 finals lost

Fill-in-the-Draw (3): US Open 2014, Rotterdam 2013 and Geneva 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 ATP 500 and 1 ATP 250

Tennis Tipping (3): Veneza and Todi 2014 (with vn01), Knoxville 2015 (with Redkop) - 3 challengers; 7 finals lost

Agree with all of this. Make it happen.

I may or may not agree to a forum wide referendum, it all depends on the situation. But 50 posters is a bare fraction of the total representation of this forum. There are 54,000 members, maybe 30,000 are active on a daily basis. It needs to be 10,000 or above in order for this to work.

I agree that you may need to have your infraction evaluated, but it's a little farfetched to say it was an abuse of power. If it was, you would have been permanently banned. But you're banned according to the number of infractions you have received.

Either way, welcome back and I wish you well in your endavours. You can pass as a historic figure of this board.

You can always write Vertical Scope.

No way a half of the total members can be active on daily basis, those would be unreal stats, how did you come up with that?

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”
