MTF Double standards!?

I don`t know how many times I read different articles, how some players should retire;
Likes of Roddick or Fed for example countless times.
Then as highly disappointed fan of Ljubicic game recently I opened thread about his obvious need for retirement and despite the fact that there were replies right way, I got deleted!?
WTF !? Is Ljubo less interesting player than some other players on tour!?
This applies to some other topics too. I mean looks like some players are adored like Gods and we
should all face so many different threads literally anything about them … while some players are simply ignored!?

Trying HARD to understand this attitude.

good if they're all deleted from now on

And please don't dispair about Ljubicic : he's not in good form but he can still make some good things, in the last years he even got good results on clay, which shows what a great player he still is.

Re: MTF Double standards!?

Your thread seem to suggest Ljubo is retiring, while he is certainly not. No wonder it was deleted.

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

MTF has no standard at all when it comes to moderation.

MTF blames you for being naive enough to believe it has standards

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.

Re: MTF Double standards!?

Well thats probably because you started a thread on it as opposed to just saying it in an existing match thread for example. I don't see many if any threads started saying a player should retire, maybe they are all deleted.

Re: MTF Double standards!?

Ljubo isn't retiring now and nor should he. So stop starting threads about it.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Well I do remember that "Federer must retire for his fans"-thread...
Otherwise, fully agree.
I don't understand fans calling for the retirement of their fav player at all, btw. If anything, I understand it often comes from fans being disappointed by a player's bad loss, but there are other ways to express that disappointment than to start a separate thread on it.
