This idea should be banned with no second chance.

Re: Giving all banned posters a second chance??

even god gives 2nd chances.

i think i like cleo`s idea. why the hell not.

give them a chance to reform and become more responsible and thoughtful posters right before the rest of us.

i realize that some will throw away their 2nd chances again but still some will try to maximize their 2nd chance.

give them a 2nd chance with conditions.

Re: Giving all banned posters a second chance??

There is a whole section about Forum rules, banning, etc. in the Site Discussion and News section of the Forum. Which sadly very few posters even look at.

Can we at least have the banned users post back under Announcements? It was so much more convenient that way because of the sidebar link

Re: Giving all banned posters a second chance??

BigJohn's ban still not listed on the "Banned users" list, so we don't know how long it's for. I wonder if it's under some kind of appeal.

I was in the thread and saw the posts he was banned for before they got deleted. If someone came to my house and said "I'll give you $100,000 to get yourself banned on MTF in 15 minutes" I'd post what he posted. Unless he wanted to get himself banned, the whole thing is very fishy. Those posts... it didn't sound like him at all.

Definitely not. The forums are better off without mugs like GlennMirniy, Federer's_Mate and TheMagician.
