WTF is your problem mods?

why has this thread been closed? and since when do we close match results threads after a certain time passed?

if you have closed it because it went off-topic, if you checked the precise page I linked to, you'll see that it only went off topic for a handful of posts in that page, clearly started by haters to bring the thread off-topic.

if that was the reason for closing it, why didn't you just delete those few apparently butthurting off-topic posts? how come a thread like this goes off topic for this long and yet nothing is done to close it?

people are going to comment on that match and on it's historic impact for years to come, what kind of retarded moderation is this?

Well said, Habib. If anything, that silly 'Murray-dissing-Fed'-thread deserves to be dumped into the Pit of Doom a lot more, for plenty reasons.

You can thank the :retard: Noletrolls for the closing of the thread. They did the same pathetic thing with the Nole roasting thread until it got closed.

Re: WTF is your problem mods?

It's been only 9 days since he won RG, completed the career slam, and tied Sampras. Probably will go down as the most important slam victory of his career, and by extension, the most important slam victory this decade. Nice work mods!

Re: WTF is your problem mods?

That is a historic thread and now because some Nole fans went off topic the whole of MTF should pay the price as it doesn't exist anymore?

Re: WTF is your problem mods?

It happened to the AO final thread as well. I'm guessing that some can't handle seeing fans of a player celebrate so they feel the need to make sure that the thread gets closed just to spite a certain fanbase.

Blame them, not the mods.

I still think that part of the problem is the closing of the hahaha/peeler/roasting...threads.
That gave the haters, the trolls,...one place to go to for gloating purposes. Now, they're using the match threads for this purpose.

You can still celebrate in Fed's forum, can't you?

Re: WTF is your problem mods?

thread locked again, would someone explain why exactly? since when are happy smileys about a result "off-topic"?

Re: WTF is your problem mods?

Perfectly deserved.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: WTF is your problem mods?

It's been closed because it's now Wimbledon, the French is long over and frankly, the attempts to keep it going are extremely tedious.

Time to move on.

It can continue to be celebrated in the Federer forum now.

Haven't you?

(3) Try to avoid discussions that are unrelated to the main subject of threads. Posts that deviate significantly from the main point of a thread may be removed, or a thread may be closed when it has veered off topic, or is no longer generating any useful discussion. (most common infraction types: forum disruptions)

so if a thread wasn't generating a useful discussion for a day or two you automatically close it no matter how significant the thread is? I was just about to start a very important discussion with a post there on a strategy pattern of Roger's matches which was evident in Soderling's match as well, and people were still commenting on the match for the first time.

so what if a night or two passes with no discussions but with s and s ? this is ridiculous.
