In previous years, when a tournament changed venue, or even sponsor, it took a long time for the powers-that-be on MTF to change the name of the Sub-Forum. So I don't expect this one to be changed anytime soon

Re: sub forum needed for serbian open

Holy shit, do I have an old version of this PDF file in my cache, or why do I not see this tournament on it? The week of June 15 is showing only s'Hertogenbosch and Eastbourne for me

But I figured the new tournament in that week is Serbian Open and is played in Belgrad?

It's s'Hertogenbosch, don't know why ATP hasn't changed/replaced it yet. at least that's what I'm aware, the tournament was bought and the venue changed from Netherlands to Serbia.

BTW, ATP website was having a problem last two weeks with cache if you went to Challengers and Futures section; you needed to refresh the page once to get the current tournaments

Re: sub forum needed for serbian open

The s'Hertogenbosch tournament is history, Neely. Djokovic family bought the tournament and moved it to Belgrade

Re: sub forum needed for serbian open

All right, thanks for the feedback so far.

So the new info for this tournament is:
Serbian Open
June 15-21, Belgrade, Serbia

Is this correct, or why is it saying
Quote:
His family's enterprise, Family Sport, will organized the event in May 2009, offering USD 500,000 in prize money to participants
in the article Lee linked us to?

It means they organize it in May, but hold it in June?

sorry I gave the wrong info. It's another Dutch tournament, Amersfoort, that Djokovic family bought. At ATP draw, it's probably the "TBD" in May (tournament was played in July this year)

Re: sub forum needed for serbian open

Amersfoort is the one that has been moved.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: sub forum needed for serbian open

All right, thanks for clarification!

So lets wait until it is exactly determined, and then we can also change the tournament subforum.

Re: sub forum needed for serbian open

And what's going to be the tournament name? Serbian Open? Or with a sponsor? The date is May 4-10?

If so, then we would have everything to change the tournament subforum.
