Re: message to MTF owners and adminsitrators

I haven't been here for long enough so I don't have much criticism to give to anyone, I'm neutral to both CD and RL and as such I say CD doesn't deserve a ban, and RL should stay a mod, besides that we can supposedly fix emerging problems as a civil respecting community

p.s.: I never imagined Glenn and Donna might have something in common, they always seemed to me as totally different personalities (one with short crisp statements and other with ivory speechs), someday there will be a TV show based on MTF thats for sure

I have no problem with the warning. It was warranted, since I insulted him. That is, it was warranted from a technical standpoint. I see insults being hurled all the time and nothing happens.

Still, that didn't bother me. I was just looking for him to warn us both, since both me and Shotgun insulted each other. No big deal. At least RL now knows that he's being monitored. Quite a lot of people have been complaining.

They have two things in common:

1- They both can't stand Nadal
2- Their countries (Italy and Brazil) both have some shade of green in the flag

3. They don't like Djokovic either, and get irritated by his General Messages fanbase.

They have #3 in common with me too. And you

Dear dear, i think we have a fantastic 4 in PD, GM, and us two to combat the RFK, CD, Aoimeh, and Farhenclown.

My disdain towards Nadal is so much different from my utter dislike of Djokovic.

I just can't tolerate the fact that Nadal has consistently been able to improvise a relatively elementary strategy to defeat Roger, time and time again, what's even more irritating is that since he's actually started playing more aggressively my argument seems to be slightly out of touch with reality.

Djokovic makes me nauseous because he just doesn't belong anywhere in the vicinity of a tennis court in my opinion, that is in a capacity other than that of a security guard or one of those deranged streakers that make their presence known from time to time. (See Richard K. vs Malivai Washington Wimbledon Final)

He obviously read MTF in 2005 to check out your posts to help him to add more dimensions to his game.

As for Djokovic, I wouldn't say all that. He has a good game, but other than that, his parents, his fans, his personality, everything is just :retard:

You need to be more honest in the true art of despising Fakervic above everything. Above your liking of Nadal too.

elessar? She rarely fights against Djoko anymore because she wants everyone to like her. It's disappointing

The post that sticks out in my mind is the post RG 06 final. And only because prima donna conceded that the hug Rafa gave his father was nice That was the only good thing he could find to say.

Re: message to MTF owners and adminsitrators

It's arguable that someone should get a warning for insulting someone out of the blue. Maybe that's a bit harsh if it's the first time, but it could be a good measure if it's going to prevent the poster from doing it again in the future. Like I said, it's arguable.

On the other hand, the concept of someone getting a warning for reacting to an insult is completely absurd. The person who reacts to a personal attack is not the one that should be targetted by the mods, this person is not the one that started the whole incident in the first place, and not the one causing trouble. Of course, the most appropriate thing to do would be to shake off the insult and report the post, but asking for all members to be that cold-blooded is a bit too much IMO.

If not, maybe I should go postal and start insulting everyone, I would get warned but it would be an effective way to cause some posters (the ones that would insult me back) to get warned too. Wow, what a way to treat people equally!

PS: the "his insult was worse than mine" argument tells a lot about who is bringing it up.

This doesn't really fly with me. My parents raised me to take the high road - if someone goes after me, I'll defend myself or ignore it, but insulting someone back is nothing more than fighting fire with fire. Why should someone who is simply responding to an attack be treated any differently than someone who initiates it? It's still an attack. At the high school I went to, if you were involved in a physical fight, you got suspended, whether you started it or not - the rationale is that if you fight back, you're still fighting back. Maybe it's poor logic, but I have no problem whatsoever with people being warned for responding to an insult with another insult. Even if it's just a response, it's still a perpetuation of the attitude and rudeness that pervades GM so badly now. If you're not mature enough to ignore someone who insults you, why should you be spared from a warning too? You seem to be saying that it's normal that someone who feels insulted would always respond with an insult and I don't buy that at all. I think it's funny when people insult me on here, when I don't insult back, I think it makes the person doing it look even worse - why would I want to stoop to that kind of level?
