Code Violations

How do you get a code violation, and when does it go away?

Re: Code Violations

Well, I did post a message about Roddick looking more like a rat than a duck. Does that warrant a code violation?

Re: Code Violations

I don't think so... somebody from Spain already insulted me as a "son/daughter of a bitch" and did get nothing, so it would be ridiculous if you would get warned because of something like that
anyway, I have the impression that players calling certain names is daily business here
no idea who could be upset with you

Since you posted that on Andy's forum, maybe it does.

No, it doesn't at all. And it shouldn't matter what forum you're on, either.

Re: Code Violations

Can we give "code violations" out to the Roddick trolls in GM? I think that it's only fair to punish them for being so gosh darned stupid.

What the fuck is a "code violation" anyways? They sound stupid. Just my opinion, of course.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Re: Code Violations

(I'm not literally asking what a "code violation" is, so please... spare me the explanation that they are "offenses which violate the code". Captain Obvious makes me cry)

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Re: Code Violations

If the Roddick fans insist on discussing his duck qualities in the Roddick forums, I fail to see the problem with a poster saying "he looks rat like, not duck like". How on earth does that constitute a bash? I can understand if you're either 12 years old, or just an old bitter shrew, but really... some people would do well to not get fussed up over something so petty. Pathetic.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Re: Code Violations

Agreed that this shouldn't be punished in any way. If someone thinks Roddick looks like a rat, it's his opinion and not an insult to the player or to any forum member. I can't understand what's offensive about it. I for example think Roddick with his current beard kind of looks like a homeless guy and not either of the animals.

Re: Code Violations

Okay. I think its time for the code violation to go away. I've had it for about two weeks. I think that's enough. I get it. I promise I won't insult Rat-- I mean-- Duckboy anymore.

Come back Guga!

I have never been here before and have to say I agree Personally I believe a lot of Roddick fans are just too over-sensitive for their own good - certain of us European fans have been described as Fascists and "Eurotrash" by some of them - but we just laugh it off and treat it with the contempt those comments deserve - we certainly don't go "bad-repping" people all over the place! Ah well - you go on calling Roddick - Duckboy or Ratboy whatever you want rulesthe world

You can't be an anti-Roddick fan in the Roddick forum.
