GGL at the Australian Open 2011

Wow, tough draw. Glad he's seeded (#32) but he gets a tough draw anyway.

R1: Michael Berrer. The two traded hardcourt wins towards the end of last year in their H2H, GGL taking Bangkok and Berrer taking Vienna. Could go either way.

R2: Schwank or Mayer (L).

R3: Andy Murray. o_O

GGL would be lucky to make it to R3... heck, he'll be lucky to make it past R1. Best of luck to GGL though!!

HUEY/INGLOT FTW!
TEAM PHILIPPINES: ARCILLA. ALCANTARA. GONZALES. HUEY. PATROMBON.
DJOKOVIC. NADAL. DEL POTRO.
Garcia-Lopez. Monaco. Nieminen.

Berta. Dzumhur. Baluda. Fernandes.

FITD: Current: 42/178 (18.02.13). Peak: 23/178 (08.10.12).
Suicide Tennis: Current: 67/190 (17.03.13). Peak: 53/186 (08.10.12).

Re: GGL at the Australian Open 2011

The match was easier than I thought.
He will win R2 match
And I hope he will play good match against Murray.
Good luck!

Never ever give up

He's got a chance against Murray. Depends which Murray shows up on court.

If you don't want to get mad today...don't read the British press on this match... The Telegraph was particularly scathing

Plus a foot-in-mouther from AM:
“It was much easier than the scoreline suggested,” Murray said in an on-court interview with Jim Courier. “No, sorry, sorry, I meant harder.”

Good ol' Murray.....and very sorry for GGL. That had to be a rough loss to stomach.

Re: GGL at the Australian Open 2011

I still can not believe it was a one side game, i dont know whats the matter with him. but after defeated by Andy Murray, he looked so disappointed and upset, even he was lossing the match, but he still tried to win the game. I felt so bad after it.

Re: GGL at the Australian Open 2011

A little disappointing because I always thought AO would be a good chance for a breakthrough, but hard luck on that draw, TBH. Maybe if he faced Verdasco in R3 instead.
