A Champion's mind

Just picked it up, read the first two chapters. Very interesting book.

Anyone else reading it?

Re: A Champion's mind

no, sorry, i didn't know about this book and haven't seen it for sale in our book store

Rafa! Rafa! Rafa!

Epic movies, like brokeback mountain, are seldom found in the industry or worthy for the mainstream viewer. As often as I have watched the clips of this movie, I always find something more to it. For one, the gay stuff doesn't enter the picture for me, only the dimension of the highest love I have ever witnessed in life or on film.

It came out on June 11th. I just picked up a copy at the book store. It's not easy to find here in Canada.

Pete wrote it with Peter Bodo. It's about his life and tennis. Very interesting read so far.

Hi I am reading the book, and it's a very good read not only for Pete fans but for tennis fans in general. At the end of the book it's Pete's take on his rivals game, a must read

I'm actually only half way through it. I look forward to reading it to the end. It's really nice to hear Pete's perspective on the game. It's like getting a behind the scene's look at tennis.

Re: A Champion's mind

O.k. I finished reading it.

Some parts were more interesting than others, but good book overall. He does skip over some things that I wish he would have elaborated on, e.g. the current game, or when Clinton called him after his retirement ceremony, what did they talk about?
