I think: go home, take care of the knee. No way is he gonna get anywhere in that draw with that knee.

Re: David limping through Cincy.

at the thread title

And I can only agree...what is the meaning to play if he is not 100% fit? Would be much better to rest now for 1 or 2 weeks and be completely healthy for the US Open than to risk and miss the GS....But that´s his decision, he is already a big boy Well, or maybe not anyway...

Tommy Robredo David Ferrer Pere Riba Fernando Verdasco

Pico Monaco ~ Edu Schwank ~ Stan Wawrinka ~ Dani Gimeno ~ David Marrero ~ Marc Lopez ~ Marco Chiudinelli ~ Marcel Granollers

I miss you on tour, Nors, Bjösse, Simon & Pim Pim

Not sure unless Batfair are covering it, I've got coverage on Sky

Good news is he doesn't seem to be limping but he's still got the knee strapped like last week

Re: David limping through Cincy.

He won the 1st set 7-5 and I'm probably going to jinx him but he's moving pretty good and playing like we know he can

He's also taken the strapping off his knee

Re: David limping through Cincy.

He took the strapping off? As far as I know it's only there to lift the kneecap a little as to take off some of the strain, but it's not necessary. So I guess it bothered him more playing with it than without, which is a good sign.

He must have played brill as Stan isn't just any guy. Running is what David likes most so that's not the way to put away our boy.

Oh lucky you. I'm off to do a little running of my own.
