Pretty good indeed. And I would think it may brighten up Rosie's day just the tiniest bit.

Poor David
Kept up with Rafa well in the first set- I really thought he might go one set up on a couple of occasions. Then his level of play dropped and Rafa stepped it up in the second.
Still.....semi final ain't bad chico. And it was a pleasure and a privilege to have been supporting David this week in Barca.
VAMOS!

I agree with you Sue, in the first he made me believe several times he was gonna take that set. Great tennis. Then in the second he let his level drop a little and it was all Rafa.

Anyway good job David.

Re: The * Beat 'Em All in Barca, David* Cheering Thread

This is from the BBC website

Rafael Nadal secured his place in the Barcelona Open final by beating David Ferrer - but claimed it was his most difficult match on clay this season.
The top seed made it 71 successive wins on clay with a 7-6 6-1 triumph, but said: "The first set was really tough. The key to winning was to find the rhythm in my forehand. David is very quick and one of the best players in the world, especially on this surface."
