David Ferrer

Is anyone a fan? I don't see any other threads on him, so I figured I'd start one.

He plays in Miami today against Philipp Kohlschreiber.

Vamos!

Me too! I just started paying attention to him recently, lol, but he's slowly creeping up the list of guys I like to support.

David won his match today against Kohlschreiber 6-2, 7-6 (6).

In the next round he plays Xavier Malisse.

Re: David Ferrer

David is through to the next round. He had lost the first set to Malisse 3-6, and when it was 5-5 in the second, something happened with Malisse and David goes through on a walkover according to the site. I don't know what the deal with Malisse is, but next he plays the winner of Nalbandian/Acasuso.

Re: David Ferrer

yay! he got past Nalbandian and is now into the 4th round!! that's a really great achievement for him. Now he plays Ferrero which is not impossible...but I hate it when 2 Spaniards have to meet

Ugh. I hate it too. I hope David plays well at least, even if he doesn't win.

Re: David Ferrer

Ferrer is through to the quarters.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
