Chucho taking the Yale kids to school in New Haven Thread

It's early, but Chucho will be back in action on the hardcourts after his devastating defeat in Stuttgart.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

it's never an easy draw in the masters series. Good luck Chucho. Go through the first round and maybe we'll get the chance to see you

You probably have no idea who the guy in my avatar is.

Well, I haven't seen the match. Just followed livescores. Chucho won 7/5 7/6 with 20-18 in the tiebreak!! He likes it to keep the suspens alive.

Re: Stay Away from Tim Horton's TMS Toronto Thread

I got like five heart attacks while watching that tb at the scoreboard Well done, he kept his head cool this time

He plays Robredo or Safin next. Great chances that it will be on the center court and therefore also on tv

You probably have no idea who the guy in my avatar is.

Re: Stay Away from Tim Horton's TMS Toronto Thread

I was half expecting to lose that marathon TB knowing chucho, good job

Now to beat up on either Safin or Robredo - hope it is Robredo so he can pummel him like he did in Cincy last year

Re: Stay Away from Tim Horton's TMS Toronto Thread

Glad the big man won as I am not sure how he'd have come back in the 3rd set, but he got the win.

Yes, Safin or Boredo will be an interesting match up either way.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Stay Away from Tim Horton's TMS Toronto Thread

Chucho and Nalbo lost in doubles. I wish he and Prieto teamed up again.

Anyway, Robredo is up next. Kind of pity it's not Marat, because a match between my two favourites would be something really enjoyable to follow.

Chucho played a good match against Tommy last year in Cincy so hopefully he can do it again. Plus, Tommy's leg was bothering him a bit today

You probably have no idea who the guy in my avatar is.

Re: Stay Away from Tim Horton's TMS Toronto Thread

I've got a good feeling with his next match - Robredo was unimpressive today and was very frustrated for most parts of the match. Safin just gifted it to him with his shocking serving.

Chucho will give him a beatdown.

Boredo's leg was not bothering him at all, it was a strategic timeout and a trick he has performed many times.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
