I would love to know too Effka, and I've been scanning the Argentine Press for more details this morning - but sadly they seem to think the only thing that matters in this world is Davis Cup so there is no news of Chucho or any other players or tournaments at all.

Re: Jose "Chucho" Acasuso Room

I reckon he somehow found Slovakia on his way from Romania to Italy and decided to stay there with his team mates. You should know that alcohol in Slovakia is cheap as chips. I think that might've been the main factor

Anyway, i haven't found any official info about this. He's still listed on the official site of thetourney

You probably have no idea who the guy in my avatar is.

I wish i knew. I suppose he got kidnapped by UFO or simply decided that he had played enough tennis this year and decided to go home

seriously... I just hope he's not injured

Then Chucho wouldn't be telling the truth.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

He didn't say anything! It was Calleri who said Polish girls were the prettiest (see Nathaliia's post ealier in this thread) - so I simply replied that I would tell Calleri off because he didn't sing the praises of English girls like myself!!!!

On a serious note though - I do wish we could find out why Chucho withdrew from Palermo

Re: Jose "Chucho" Acasuso Room

Lol i didn't get it probably because i'm getting crazy here trying to figure out why he withdrew. I also read somewhere that he withdrew from the alt list in madrid (i forgot where i read it though). But i'm mad because i thought i could finally see him on tv - es2 will be showing Palermo tourney. Anyway, please come back Chucho, and PLEASE get an official site of yours.
