Re: "Pendaison de crémaillère"/ Housewarming party!!

Do you think we could have the "How do u pronounce Gael Monflis' name?", "Interview with G. Monfils in Sopot!" and "Photos of Gael Monfils from Sopot." to be moved there, Julie?

And what with the trema on the e of Gaël to be added in the forum title? If not for it, in French it's pronounced Gaeul...lol

I know i sound like i'm complaining but it's not the case...

Yes, we should ask for his tréma... I saw that Sébastien Grosjean gets his 'accent aigu' so ...
I don't know how to move the other threads though. Silverwhite might know it.

Re: "Pendaison de crémaillère"/ Housewarming party!!

"Pendaison de crémaillère" in Polish (the language of the country where Gael won his ATP title) we'd just say PARAPETóWA
it's a party where's a lot of drinking in a flat where there is almost no furniture - classic definition.

that's great we have this thread one of those when i'll be regularly posting when i have time! I'll prepare a sum up of "Gael in Sopot" one day

I will burn

Well, that's the same definition...hehe
P de C. litterally means "the hanging of the hook/pot hanger" because that's the first time you put it in the fireplace or whatever it is to cook a meal for your first guests who have to bring their own chairs traditionaly (and even the drinks sometimes) lol...
We all know Gaël won his first title in Poland where Polish is spoken, don't worry...
I hope he'll defend his Sopot title next year before the Montréal MS.
Is it the real spelling in Polish or is it for us to get the pronounciation, Nathaliia?
