Re: 2010 schedule

His hamstring problems returned during the training in Douarnenez, he's back in Switzerland and resting, he won't play the Masters France and Brisbane is in doubt according to Chamagne.

Re: 2010 schedule

Already injured and the season hasn't even started yet. Well he still has a few weeks, hopefully that'll be enough.

Re: 2010 schedule

According to the director of the tournament "MAsters France" (where Monfils withdrew), some people "near Monfils" said that he had 50% chances not to take part in the Australian Open :

Re: 2010 schedule

Don't believe everything Haillet says, he's just desperate to find excuses for his event.

The news in L'Equipe today:
Quote:
Gaël is in Australia already, he left on Monday. He has a tendonitis, but the doc reassured him. It was probably due to the biking, he usually never cycles. They're not worried, according to Chamagne. He's kept on working on the upper body and his condition in the meantime.
He will start his season in Brisbane, then *maybe* Sydney, Melbourne, Johannesburg and Rotterdam.

Re: 2010 schedule

I guess I can cross out Acapulco, he's surely considered playing the South American events because the Buenos Aires director said they negociated with him, but he's obviously changed his mind.

Re: 2010 schedule

Poor Haillet, he needs to find excuses for those who kills his tournament the most... if he wants to have a chance to see them next year
Give it up, with the actual ATP calendar there are no place far a master france right now.

I am happy to see Gael in Australia though

Re: 2010 schedule

Yep, you have to love the timing, Gaël virtually was about to leave for Australia while Haillet's statements about him possibly missing Melbourne were going around.

They can keep the Masters France for those who want to play it, I enjoyed the matches on Sunday, but no need to "survendre" it the way Haillet does, it is just embarrassing.
