Re: Clay season 2008

He lost the 1st set playing rather blah, I hope he will do like against Gil now and go more for his shots (but GGL is playing OK, it won't be as easy as against Gil!)

Re: Clay season 2008

He's playing much better since GGL broke right at the beginning of the 2nd set.

Is anybody watching? What was the deal with the towel? He was not happy because GGL asked for his towel between the 1st and the 2nd serve, is that right? I only saw the little "conversation".

Re: Clay season 2008

Live streams, TV's and satellite feeds for Poertschach, Casablanca and Dusseldorf

I take back everything I said, how the hell could he be broken when serving for the set? He had done so well to come back from one break to 5-3 and wastes it with a complete joke of a service game!

Re: Clay season 2008

Yess, awesome game to break and take the set! ALLEZ!

I was pissed because he has the game to win these matches atm. In Monte-Carlo, I wasn't too excited about his game, but he's sometimes playing some very exciting stuff in Marrakech and Casa.
It's more an attitude issue today.

Re: Clay season 2008

I can't believe that Gael still doesnt have the microgel paint on his frame and someone like garcia-lopez does. that makes zero sense.

However...I'm liking Gael's play

Some incredible stuff from the middle of the 2nd set. Of course GGL was completely crap in the 3rd set, but you have to give Gaël credit for it.

Re: Clay season 2008

yeah gael won hismatch, that was hard but he fought good to come back 1set and 1 break down.
In the third set he played very good level, worthy of a top20, 6-0 to garcia lopez, thats goodfor his confidence.
Congrats

Re: Clay season 2008

OMG, I so hate it when he acts like that on the court. He looks like a football player faking an injury to get a foul.
I'm fine with him tanking, I actually was hoping he would after his 1st round because I want him to rest now. But no need to pull a show, Gaël.
