LOL.....Yeah, I know I know, Lizan is a goooood person, are you? I trust you, Lizan!
Anyway, you're right, I guess Japanese is difficult (probably, Chinese also), because sometimes I can't understand it..... (OMG!! ) ...LOOOOOOL
Sébastien Grosjean is my favorite.
I also like Tommy Haas and Arnaud Clément.
I'm so glad to my path crossed with yours.
I assure you that when spoken Danish is nothing like Dutch! Written Dutch can look a bit like German, so I sometimes understand a word or two, but don't seem to be able to get a whole sentence! Anyway, my German's crap, I learnt it at school, but was never any good at it. The grammar has remained a mystery to me! I can read and understand Swedish and Norwegian if I make an effort and if they speak slowly and distinctly. And then I speak Spanish at an okay level (not nearly as good as I used to be!) and English - which I'm going to teach very soon!
I think Chinese and Japanese are beautiful written languages. They look so elegant - much better than our letters in the west!
Aha I know I am late for it but, zyim, I am Kelly from Hong Kong, another Chinese! Yay!!! Li hao ma? xian jai de Shanghai lang ma? (I dunno whether the spellings are correct or not,,, hehe)
Anyways, it's winter here in HK but today is bloody hot, all of us put on short-sleeves teeeessssssssss... aha!!!
Hmm, that would explain if Danish looks a bit like Frisian. We've got a regional dialect (my homwtown) that looks a lot like Old English. Or even Robert Burns kind of Scottish! Mind you, I never learned how to speak my socalled regional dialect (my parents speak it) and I've got a hard time trying to understand it!
