Re: Aus Open

Seb usually doesn't play great tennis when he faces a french but I noticed that since last year he improved his victory percentage agains french players.
And Llodra hasn't played a match so far, has he ? Whereas seb played three matches (and two and a half matches were very good tennis) so we can stay positive :-)
And he reached the quarters for the last 2 years, so he can play good tennis and handle this first match !!! Allez seb !!

Re: Aus Open

I dont really worry about Llodra.. The worst thing for me is that he meets Roddick so early in the tournament ..

But maybe I SHOULD worry about llodra first.. I dont really know this guy, havent seen him that often.. I know hes good in doubles..

Re: Aus Open

Llodra is a very good form, he worked a lot this winter to prepaer the new season, and is very motived, he played well in Sydney.

Re: Aus Open

His reaction about the draw is quite strange..lol

(audio itw)

about the first round...he said there are most difficult matches, and easier matches maybe...- didn't say it was going to be hard- then talked about Arnaud who was going to play hewitt again, and fabrice /federer... in short, he's seems more disapointed for the others than for him. lol
(I think though it will be a very tough match !! )

Re: Aus Open

Looks like Seb is playing Tuesday. I'm hoping to go to the Open on Thursday. As soon as they open the gates I'm going to .....walk very fast..... ....to the court Seb is playing in that day and get front row seats right near where he sits (where I hope he'll sit!. That way you get some good views and photos when he's walking back to his seat.

Of course this all depends on whether he's in an outside court. If it's Rod laver or Vodaphone I haven't got much hope of seeing him. (No hope if it's Rod Laver).

I'm worried about his first two matches - actually I'm worried about his whole draw.

But only a little bit worried - Us Grosjean fans have learnt to have hope and really, who knows what he is capable of this season! Esp. after the changes of last year.

So if you're there on Thursday and you see a woman and two girls sitting behind the players seats at 10am, come and say hi!

We're also thinking of making a cheering sign (as I'm too scared to cheer with my voice). *laughs*

Does anyone have any good ideas of what to write on the sign? I'd like to write him a message in French, but unfortunately I don't know French.

Any ideas?

Sammy

Re: Aus Open

He plays against a parisian, so you can write "ALLEZ MARSEILLE", I'm sure both players will understand the meaning.
Seb is from Marseille and a big fan of Marseille football club, Micka Llodra is a fan of PSG (Paris football club), and in general, both towns are big ennemies. I know thr players like to make fun each other about their fav' clubs.

(Only problem: I hate Marseille football club, I prefer Paris... lol)

Hehe, well I won't be at his court all day waiting for his match (presuming he makes it through to Thursday).... because unfortunately nearly all my favourite players are in his half of the draw so I'll be scuttling around EVERYWHERE!!!

But, if I can, I'll head to where he will be playing and have a look out for you

GO SEB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
