he showed in Masterc Cup i shanghai that he can be counted for the big events & crucial moments. that is a good sign if he is to win a GS
agreed. He gained much confidence in Shanghai, and won some exhibitions after that. He was playing his best during that period. unfortunately, he suffered from virus infection early this year, and withdrew from Kooyong. The only warm-up match he played was against Kiefer.
but there's bright sight, he's seeded 4th, and got a fairly good draw. He could use the first two matches as his warm-up.
Hope he's much better now and ready to compete!
