Re: Indian Wells 2007 *** Good luck Guga

I am really too tired to do a good report so I will save it later.

The crowd is of course, pro Guga and lots of support.

Juan is a good boy and very respectful. He won the toss but gave the choice to Guga. And there aren't many players taller than Guga.

Unfortunately, tournament director believed many people will come to watch Guga (and he's right) and put him on stadium/main court. That means, I had to watch the match like watching parade on the 10th floor balcony.

Although I would like to say Guga is back, but..... The only reason he broke Del Potro was JMDP served about 4-5 double faults in that game.

I watched JMDP vs Gasquet yesterday in the second show court and had a much better look on JMDP so I would have to adjust my opinion on Guga's match on my first impression. Hopefully, it won't be next year when I finally come up with my report.

I only watched him practised with Haas for a very short time as you expected the practice court was crowded with women all ages. Shirtless Haas plus shirtless Safin. I had a hard time sqeezing in to take a pic of both.

Hippo's match was on Sunday and I was too tired to go for another half day and drove home at night. It's a 5 hours drive.

Thanks for the info Guga's return still needs a lot of improvement that's for sure, but you were certainly delighted to see him in real Is the grunt still the same?

Sigh. He is simply the most handsome guy on the ATP.

Federer: Lord of the Strings (quote borrowed from another MTF-poster)
Safin: His Royal Dork-ness
Hewitt: Mowing a lawn near you
Kuerten: tennis in the shape of a heart
Ollie Rochus: the lil'man that broke Karlovic

I think his hair look really cool that way, a bit straighter than usual (probably because of the cap), it makes a great look
