Re: Guga's articles

Guga will be in Costa do Sauípe.
04/02/2005 às 23h16

Gustavo Kuerten and Fila, Italian mark of sporting stuff, had
still not arrived at an agreement. Despite this, the conversations
between Kuerten and Fila, that had been initiated in the end of the
last year, are a good signal and demonstrate that Guga plans a
return in high style. He only must pronounce your calendar of
return during the week of Brazil Open, when he will be in
the Costa do Sauipe for a promocional action of the Bank of
Brazil, his main sponsor.

Re: Guga's articles

Guga would be best with Diadora I think Fila would be strange but definitely not Nike lol! This is just not Guga's personality!

Re: Guga's articles

Fila is definitely not for Guga but it's nice to have a clothing deal. Anything looks better than his Head tennis shirt

Trying to imagine Guga in the blue or red tye-dye shirts.

Re: Guga's articles

Guga gave an interview to a Brazilian newspaper and he said his goals for 2005 are obviously Roland Garros and to come back with no pain in his hip. He also said that he's trying not to think of what it's gonna be when he comes back so he can enjoy his results a lot more. He talked about his coach being one of the most expected names to be DC's coach, saying that it'd be great if that happens cos it'd interest many sponsors, etc... I'll try to translate the whole thing to you later on

Re: Guga's articles

I loved Guga in Diadora. I wish he would go back to them.

I think his loyality to Bank of Brazil has made it difficult to negotiate a clothing deal with some companies. Also I think shoes are very important for Guga with his hip injury. He has to have the freedom to wear the shoes that are best for him. These clothing companies want a head to toe deal with players.
