aww thats a shame I was hoping to see him as I haven't seen him live ever! Hopefully he will be in shape by the time I go to Roland Garros.

They won their match by W.O. and now play Dabul/Lopez in the second round.

He's playing doubles with Marcos Daniel, they will have their first round tomorrow.

Next week he will play the Vina del Mar tournament, I've never liked the Round-Robin format, but I have to say it will be very good for Guga to get two matches in a row.
I agree. I really look forward to see him playing Vina del Mar. However, I don't expect him to make it to the QF, but winning one of his matches would be nice. And even if he doesn't, it will be a step into the right direchtion, as every single match on ATP-level should help him to regain confidence and class.

Re: Guga on the road back! Current stop: Santiago.

Yah, round robin might be a good thing for him.. Hopefully he can gain some rhythm or something, it's depressing to see him lose all his Challengers matches..

Re: Guga on the road back! Current stop: Vina del Mar

Kuerten said: "I felt I was playing well. I obviously was lacking rhythm but I felt I was controlling the match at times. I think it's probably at the end that I played the best. I really had my chances to win that second tie-break. I also need to acknowledge that he played a very solid match; he gave away very few points and lifted his level in the key moments.

"Now I want to try to keep playing the way I played today. I have another singles match tomorrow and I still have the chance to qualify into the quarters."

That's some nice positive thinking, GO GUGA!!!
