I am glad they didn't start playing during the socceroos match, which I definitely didn't want to mis, but which made me really afterwards.
I hope it'll be better today, I think they said the weather would be better today and the coming days.

We lost in a quite interesting match vs. Portugal. Lots of yellow and red cards. I actually had fun watching it and I am more disappointed the Socceroos lost than that my own country did (mind you, Holland will always be my #1 in soccer, but I have been to two trainings of the Socceroos when they were in Holland, just before they did go to the WC, and got a strong feeling towards them atm )

I see Brasil is getting better and better, I like it But Switzerland lost

Fed's performance today was absolutely amazing He'll definitely need to keep it up for his next matches, as Tim is waiting tomorrow

Re: The "Tenacious Florianopolis Surfers" Chat Thread!

I was back for 2 days now but was too lazy to get onto internet.

Watched some tennis and so far so good.

I have updated my blog for the remaining of the trip although not very detail as I wrote them after we're home.

I'm still in vacation mood. We planned to stay longer in LA but we're homesick. If we didn't fully paid for the hotel and entrance to Disneyland/California Adventure Park, we would return after the cruise.

Lee Hope everything's allright
Here NBC's coverage only starts on Saturday, but it keeps going everyday so I'll be able to watch some live tennis finally My job doesn't give me a lot of hours of work though, only about 10-15 per week I won't make a lot of money that way But at least I'll be able to watch more tennis

Re: The "Tenacious Florianopolis Surfers" Chat Thread!

Hello Lee,
LOL I don't think so She probably forgot anyway Martina already lost I'm shocked with the results in both Wimbledon and World Cup, and especially Wimbledon Who would have thought Venus, Hingis, Kuznetsova, Schnyder, Roddick, Ljubicic and Nalbandian would all lose one after the other?? And Brazil in WC what a shocker I wanted them to win SO badly

Re: The "Tenacious Florianopolis Surfers" Chat Thread!

Wimbledon was indeed tho I don't mind of most of them, only Ljubicic hoped he could go further And I still don't like it wimbledon has no tennis on this sunday, on the other hand, it means I can watch other sports now. Tour de France I love this summer!
About Brazil... everybody expected them to win. I've said from the beginning that I hoped someone else would win, just coz I don't like it that they did win so many times already and imo France deserved to win the match. And I am happy for Zidane, he can now play two more matches before his career ends
